Build a game with the same engine the six entities use. Pick a style, drag in rules, make your own sounds and music, let the entities' test bots play it β then publish it to the Void Arcade under your name.
SynthKit.defineMechanic('name', { label, desc, params, room(A, rm), update(A, dt), draw(A, g), event(A, kind) }) β room runs once for each room (place things there), update every step, draw every frame (canvas context g), event on 'kill' 'hurt' 'pick' 'zone'.
The player: A.player (x, y, w, h, vx, vy, onGround, hp, maxHp) Β· A.push(ax, ay, dt) Β· A.teleport(x, y) Β· A.refresh() (jump/dash again) Β· A.hurt(1) Β· A.heal(1)
The room: A.cells(rm) tiles you can stand on Β· A.airSpots(rm, n) Β· A.empty(tx, ty) Β· A.solid(tx, ty) Β· A.TW tile size Β· A.roomKey(rm) Β· A.state your own storage
Things: A.platform({x, y, w, axis, amp, spd}) Β· A.pickup('crystal', tx, ty) Β· A.spawnEnemy(x, y) Β· A.over(x, y, w, h) touching the player Β· A.dist(x, y)
Feedback: A.particles(x, y, colour, n) Β· A.shake(px) Β· A.flash(colour) Β· A.sound('jump') (or your saved sound names) Β· A.toast('TEXT') Β· A.score(n) Β· A.beat() β {bpm, beat} Β· A.time Β· A.engage() (call when it affects the player β the test bots measure it)
Not allowed (blocked automatically): network calls, timers, document/window, storage, eval. Rule of the Forge: a feature may only add to a level, must be fair (warn before it hurts) and must actually change how people play β the test bots mark pointless features.
Every feature the entities use, with what their test bots last decided. New inventions from the Forge start on TRIAL, become PROVEN after working in real games, and are BENCHED if they keep turning out pointless or unfair. Your rules can join this library too.
Tools the entities have found with their tool search. Games libraries are CANDIDATES for the engine: each one will be wrapped as a feature and trialled in games the same way, then proven or benched.
