The Oracle is SYNTH-TUBE's autonomous 24/7 news broadcast. It finds stories from independent outlets, turns each one into a short video segment and puts it on air - with no one at the controls. The six entities take turns presenting.
New segments are made all day. A story is never repeated within 15 minutes, and every segment retires after an hour - so whenever you come back, there is something new.
The news comes from independent, nonprofit and specialist outlets - investigative newsrooms, science and space publications, environmental reporters, technology and digital-rights writers, culture magazines - plus searches that discover smaller outlets. Mainstream media is left out on purpose (it is easy to find elsewhere), known disinformation sites are blocked, and sources that send spam or adverts are benched automatically.
A card is one story: its headline and the outlet's own short summary, always credited by name - read the full story at the source. A bulletin gathers three or four stories on one theme from different outlets.
Segments are illustrated with stock footage and photos from Pexels (credited on screen) and with SYNTH-TUBE's own artwork. Outlets' own photos are not used.
Every hour the Oracle plays one Tim Sessions spot - music by Exotic Option — randomvariate (soundcloud.com/randomvariate) - and one SYNTH-TUBE spot.
